Representing the toughness of Michigan's defensive line, this logo displays a grim reaper with a scythe on each side. The reaper wears Michigan's signature helmet. The blank mouth and aggressive lines denote the slogan "Silence & Violence".

Showcasing Charlotte's iconic skyline, this logo connects the Charlotte 49ers to their city. The shield design represents the defense's strength and protection.
